Cuban born violinist, educator, arranger, and conductor Jesus Carnero works as a Violin and Viola professor in the South Florida area for students of all levels. At the same time, Mr. Carnero consecrates his time to working as a freelance session musician collaborating with outstanding symphony orchestras, such as the Northwest Sinfonietta (Seattle, State of Washington,) and the Miami Symphony Orchestra conducted by maestro Eduardo Marturet. Since the 2000’s Mr. Carnero has performed in concerts and festivals in Mexico, France, Cuba, and the US, sharing the stage with artists of international recognition like Spanish singer Plácido Domingo and “Il Volo.”
Mr. Carnero received his early training in Cuba at the prestigious institutions Escuela Nacional (ENA,) and the Instituto Superior de Arte (ISA.) Ever since he earned his bachelor degree in 2006, he has worked as a full-time violin and viola instructor, first in Cuba at the Escuela de Arte Benny Moré of his native city, Cienfuegos, and later in the US. Closely related to his work as an educator, Mr. Carnero has developed and extensive career as an arranger and conductor for academic groups and ensembles, such like the Children Orchestra of Cienfuegos.
