Dayana Corton

Dayana Corton is proud to be a part of Encore Academy of the Arts’ family, teaching Musical Theater as Musical Director.

Since a very young age, Dayana has consistently studied theater and performed in various productions. She was born and raised in Miami, and attended Miami Arts Charter High School, where she studied music and theater. Realizing her love for the arts, she then enrolled at the University of Miami, majoring in musical theater, where she now possesses a BFA in Musical Theater.

Throughout her career, Dayana has been an asset in many theater productions on and off campus. She has played Queenie in “The Wild Party” and Nina in Loxen’s production of “In the Heights”. She has worked as a Disney princess for various companies, and has also taught theater and music to children at summer camps and schools.

Dayana hopes to inspire all of her students to think outside the box, and to learn to translate their life experiences into their acting. She does this in hopes to not only make them better actors/actresses, but to help them grow into confident, courageous, and artistic people, both on and off the stage.
