Keandra Cordero is an award-winning vocalist and performing arts educator, with 14 years of experience leading the field. Keandra, aka “Keeks”, specializes in musical direction, private voice coaching, and audition prep, contributing to her former students’ current success on Broadway in Into The Woods, MJ the Musical, The Outsiders, and Sweeney Todd as well as National Tours of My Fair Lady and Funny Girl. Since 2011, Keandra has worked with Miami-Dade County Public Schools’ top Drama Magnet Programs including Miami Arts Studio and Coral Reef High School as well as supporting the Drama Programs at Palmetto Middle School and Palmer Trinity School. She has spent nearly a decade and a half at Miami Children’s Theater, where she has been the musical director for over 115 productions. As a graduate of The University of the Arts in Jazz Voice, Keandra works as a professional singer and uses her skills to incorporate music theory and improvisation into her teaching methods to instill confidence in young musicians and actors. She is thrilled to join the Encore family of top-tier arts educators to continue to impact the lives of young people through the arts.
