Amy Cofiño is a passionate art educator and practicing artist with a strong foundation in fine arts. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Florida International University and a certificate from the Academy of Portrait and Figurative Art.  In addition to her academic background, Amy Cofiño was honored to be accepted into The Coconut Grove Emerging Artist Program, an experience that has further fueled her artistic growth. Her personal work blends portraiture and landscapes, often incorporating natural themes and materials.

As a teacher, Amy Cofiño is committed to engaging her students with creative lessons that are both fun and educational. She creates a supportive classroom environment where students are encouraged to experiment, explore, and discover their own creative voice. Her goal is to help each student tap into their artistic potential and enjoy the process along the way.

Outside the classroom, Amy Cofiño continues to create her own art and stays active in the local art community, constantly seeking new inspiration and opportunities to grow as an artist.
