Liliana De La Caridad

Dancer, choreographer, model, and instructor, Liliana de la Caridad joined Encore Academy of the Arts in 2024, as a teacher of Flamenco and Spanish Dance for students and groups of all ages and levels —from beginners through advanced.

Born in Havana, Cuba in 1984, Liliana De la Caridad showed talent for the arts at the early age of 4, and soon after began taking dance and modeling lessons at the renowned Centro Andaluz of Havana.
From ages 9 through 15 —for six years— miss Liliana attended Flamenco Dance School, the academy founded by the prestigious company Spanish Ballet of Cuba. There she received formal training in various dance styles, such as Classical ballet, flamenco, folklore, and regional & typical dances —along with elements of theater, music, and physical training.
During these years as a student, Liliana regularly performed in local events and competitions, gathering for herself awards and academic recognition.

By age 15 miss Liliana successfully graduated, becoming a member of the main company as a solo dancer. She played the leading role in the most important works of the standard repertoire —Amor Brujo, Carmen, Cecilia Valdez, and Bernard Alba.
As a member of the Spanish Ballet, she has steadily toured the world for two decades, performing in numerous events and festivals in Spain, Mexico, Cuba, and the US. She has shared the stage with prominent figures of the international flamenco scene, such as El Farru, Joaquin Grilo, Maria Juncal, Cristobal Reyes, Maria Pages, and Belen Maya among others.

In addition to performing during her travels, miss Liliana has managed to keep time for both, continuing her studies, and becoming a teacher, taking part in courses and workshops with an array of prestigious artists and instructors  —Joaquin Cortes, Cristina Hoyos, Farruquito, and Maria Juncal.

By 2009 —at only 25 years old— miss Liliana was already the flamenco soloist of the dance company Havana Nights of Las Vegas, Nevada, performing regularly at iconic casinos and hotels like the Sahara and Rio.

With such an outstanding technical and professional background, miss Liliana’s approach to teaching perfectly matches Encore Academy of the Arts’s mission: “Inspiring young minds through the arts.”

Liliana’s students —children and adults alike— will learn the art of flamenco dance in a fun and enjoyable environment, acquiring the necessary tools to become the artists of the future.
