Cuban born Fidel García, is a freelance Violin soloist, and orchestral & chamber musician who works and teaches in the South Florida area.
In 2017 he joined the “Encore Academy of the Arts” as a Violin and Viola instructor, where he puts his invaluable professional and teaching experience at the service of his students. At Encore Mr. García teaches students of all levels (beginners, intermediate, and advanced.)
Mr. García has performed and recorded with the Havana’s Ballet & Opera Symphony, the Boca Pop Symphony, Miami Lyric Opera, Symphony of the Americas, and the Miami Symphony Orchestra conducted by Maestro Eduardo Marturet, among others.
Mr. García received his elementary and intermediate music studies in Havana, Cuba, at the prestigious “Amadeo Roldán” conservatory. He later settled in Miami, where he attended the “New World School of the Arts.” In 2009 he graduated from “Barry University” with a Bachelor’s Degree in Instrumental Performance, Violin.
For the last decade Mr. Garcia has worked in South Florida as a violin and viola instructor at schools such as the Miami-Dade College-North Campus, the Doral Conservatory, Sam Ash Music School, and Musical.
