Sara Jarrell has been a teaching artist in Miami for the last 9 years, and currently is the Drama Magnet Teacher at South Miami K-8 Center. They are thrilled to be bringing their knowledge and love of theatre to Encore Academy of the Arts.
A Miami native, Sara received their BFA in Theater Performance from New World School of the Arts, University of Florida.
In 2019 Sara participated in the American Theater Wing’s Springboard program in studying under top Broadway performers, directors, and casting directors and attended the Tony Awards!
When not teaching Sara can be found either on stage, having previously performed in Christiana Lysistrata by Venicia Coleman, and Hooha by Armando Santana; or helping at True Mirage Theatre, a Miami based non-profit theater dedicated to producing new plays by local playwrights where they sit on the Board.
